Welcome
Time does not heal - it just normalises feeling the way we do and the triggers we have, even when they are damaging our lives and those around us. Therapy goes deeper than counselling, to change this and help us live much happier lives.

Have Helped With Many Issues
In alphabetical order: abuse (childhood, coercive, cultural, financial, physical, sexual), addictions (drink, drugs, gambling), anger, anxiety (financial, social, work-related), bereavement (human and pet), betrayal, career, co-dependency, confidence, depression, domestic abuse (child, coercive, cultural, financial, physical, sexual), loneliness, low self-esteem, people pleasing, procrastination, relationships (parental, marital, unmarried), self-harm, stress, trauma (including childhood) and unwanted pregnancies.

Therapy Style

My approach is integrative - using a holistic range of different techniques, seemlessly employed to help clients go forward.
My current record for resolving issues is just two sessions - have done that twice. More commonly, it takes one to three months, with weekly sessions.

Adulthood is Built on Childhood
Even the tallest skyscraper stands on the foundations of its beginnings. The same is true for people.
How we act, think, feel and regard the world, as well as ourselves, all stems from our childhoods.
Co-dependency, anxiety, ADHD, abuse, fear, anger, low self-esteem, low confidence... the list goes on.
Our entire world view comes from our very early years. As adults, most is only remembered by our subconscious, manifesting itself in our adult feelings and behaviours - for better or for worse.

Professional Qualifications

Continual Professional Development (CPD)
My CPD involves researching and writing about mental health. Have books and articles, published on sites such as Counselling Directory and Amazon. Currently working on a full-scale psychotherapy book aimed at therapists, therapy students and anyone interested in knowing more about it.

Client Testimonials
Some 2024 feedback

“This was my first experience of therapy and it was an extremely positive one. I found Brad to be personable and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable opening up about the difficulties i was facing and found the sessions would set me up for the week ahead. Being able to talk to Brad felt like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and has helped me see the positives.
Thanks for all you did.”
Ms C

"I came to Brad because of anxiety and low mood and had been signed off work.
I had never had therapy before but Brad was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly which made it easy for me to articulate my issues.
He helped me understand the underlying reasons for my mental state, and then, through a number of techniques, helped me to overcome it.
They were small steps that compounded, and now I feel a lot better mentally and have returned to work.
This is largely down to Brad and his therapy sessions."
Mr J

"Brad guided me through a difficult time, showing great empathy, but also giving me practical tools to use day to day to help me with my issues. I would gladly recommend him without hesitation."
Mr P

"Last year was a tough year for me and I was not coping, I reached out to Brad and he was so receptive, he called me back the same day and asked me for some background information, he said he could help me and that was such a relief in itself.

I was not in a good place mentally when I arrive to see Brad and he patiently sat and listened to me. I found him extremely calming,  empathetic, supportive and nonjudgemental.
He is very approachable, he listens and it had felt like a long time since I actually felt heard by anyone, he guides and got me thinking and questioning..
The sessions I had with Brad we’re a game changer for me and I could see myself improving after each session, I really looked forward to my therapy and even my homework!
I can highly recommend Brad to anybody who is going through a difficult time.
He really was such a help to me and I am forever grateful."
Mr H
